Thanksgiving is the act of showing gratitude to God for all his good deeds. Christians must offer thanksgiving to God because he dwells in it.

Father, you deserve every honor in my life. You deserve praises and offering of thanksgiving at all times. No one else can offer me protection and provisions like you do! You have sheltered and cared for me in the time of needs, and you have given me peace during crisis. Why then should I not praise you? Please give me the grace to appreciate you from the bottom of my heart at all times. Do not let me share any part of your glory. Help me to praise you always, and help me to testify to your goodness throughout the world. Also, let my testimony abide so that I can continue to bring praises to your holy name. For in the name of Jesus Christ I pray.

Dear Jesus Christ, what an awesome Lord you are! You sacrificed your life to save my soul! I will praise you from now on. I will sing, dance, and proclaim your goodness throughout the earth. I am determined to shun self-praise but give you due honor throughout the days of my life. So help me God!
